Duaine Peiris is the founder of Calorie Counter — Sri Lanka's first and only health food restaurant chain — and Managing Director of the Frontline Group of Companies. He is a transformation speaker, Ironman 70.3 athlete, Hyrox competitor, and doctoral researcher focused on reducing sugar spikes through food as a strategy to address NCDs in Sri Lanka.
His personal journey began with a decision — not a resolution — to change everything. He lost 55kg and has maintained that transformation for over 12 years, building businesses, raising a family, and competing at elite athletic levels simultaneously.
Through Project DP, he documents his transformation publicly — using recovery data, performance tracking, and nutrition science — to prove that sustainable change is achievable for anyone.
